Canterbury bounced back from their first loss of the season with a win at Magic Round to cement their spot at the top of the ladder.

The Bulldogs then produced a magical comeback the following week to shock the Canberra Raiders on their home patch.

The Dogs will be confident of keeping their momentum going when they take on the Sydney Roosters, with Cameron Ciraldo’s outfit looking for revenege after losing 26-8 to the Chooks the last time they faced each other last year.

However, injuries and suspensions are starting to bite with Jaeman Salmon the latest player to be struck down after he suffered a fractured ankle in Round 10.

The forward is joined on the sidelines by Enari TualaSam Hughes and Jack Todd, while Jacob Preston,  Josh Curran and Sitili Tupouniua are still banned.

Kurt Mann has been handed the No.13 jersey in Salmon’s extended absence, while Luke Smith has been listed to make his NRL debut off the bench.

Harry Hayes was brought into the backrow as Preston’s replacement in Round 10 and will continue on an edge.

Blake Taaffe has missed out on a place in the 17 with the Dogs already running with a relatively small bench through Kurtis Morrin and Bailey Hayward.
