Phoenix Suns Don’t Need Jimmy Butler, Focus on Center Depth Instead

Phoenix should look to package Nurkic, along with Beal (if needed), to acquire a center who can elevate their team both defensively and offensively. Nurkic, though underperforming, can be part of a salary-matching deal and could find a fresh start elsewhere, potentially in a system where he’s less relied upon.

The Suns could target a player like Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat, Clint Capela of the Atlanta Hawks, or even Jakob Poeltl of the Toronto Raptors. These players offer rebounding, interior defense, and the ability to contribute on offense. A deal involving Beal and Nurkic could provide the Suns with enough flexibility to secure one of these players, who could make a big difference in their title aspirations.
