According to an insider, two Warriors players have ‘zero value
With a 17-20 record, the Golden State Warriors are in the type of dire straits they haven’t been in for many years.
A number of their key players are struggling, and recently, that has even included Steph Curry, whose outstanding play this season has greatly leveled off.
Many fans are hoping they will pull off a major trade that will give them that proverbial shot of adrenaline and nutrients, but the problem is that the struggles their players are enduring are hurting their value on the open market.
In fact, Brian Windhorst, via Basketball On X, says forward Andrew Wiggins and big man Kevon Looney have “next to zero value.”
Just two seasons ago, Wiggins was an All-Star starter for the Western Conference, and he played a big role that season in the Warriors’ most recent NBA championship.
Several years ago, he was thought of as a low-efficiency chucker while with the Minnesota Timberwolves, but since coming to Golden State four years ago, he has remade himself into a two-way player.
This season, however, he’s shooting just 41.8 percent from the field and 29.8 percent from 3-point range.
Meanwhile, Looney has developed into a good rebounder and hustle player over the last few years, but he is limited in just about every other facet of the game.

Warriors fans enraged over Steve Kerr’s Andrew Wiggins-Jonathan Kuminga lineup change
The Golden State Warriors’ lineup and rotation carousel keeps on spinning. Steve Kerr opened with a different starting five for the fourth straight game on Friday, going with Andrew Wiggins and Dario Saric next to Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevon Looney.
The most notable absence from that quintet amid Draymond Green’s imminent return from suspension? Jonathan Kuminga, who’d started the Dubs’ last 14 games after initially breaking into the starting five in a December 14th loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.
