Tottenham to fight with Premier League rivals for €30 million-rated attacker
A report from German publication SportBILD via SportWitness claims that Tottenham are impressed with the 24-year-old’s performances in the Bundesliga and they could look to make a move for him in the coming months.
The striker is reportedly valued at €30 million and Tottenham certainly have the financial muscle to afford the player. He has a contract with the German club until the summer of 2027 and they are under no pressure to sell him for a knockdown price. Spurs will have to pay the asking price if they want to secure his services in the coming months.
Marmoush has scored 12 goals and picked up three assists across all competitions this season and he could prove to be a useful addition to the Spurs attack.
The North London outfit chose not to replace Harry Kane at the start of the season and they have been overly dependent on Son Heung-min for goals. The South Korean international has done a splendid job so far but he needs more support in the attack. Signing another striker should be a top priority for Tottenham at the end of the season.
The Bundesliga star could prove to be a useful addition for them.
Meanwhile, Tottenham will face competition from Premier League rivals Newcastle United, who are keen on signing the player. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can win the race for his signature.

Ange Postecoglou amazed by how well one Tottenham player kept possession against Brentford
Ange Postecoglou has issued his verdict on the performance of Richarlison as Tottenham Hotspur came from behind to beat Brentford on Wednesday night.
Tottenham have moved themselves into the top-four of the Premier League with an important win against Thomas Frank’s men. Once again, Richarlison was on the scoresheet for Spurs.
Richarlison has proved a lot of his doubters wrong of late. The Brazilian has now scored seven goals in his last nine appearances in all competitions, really stepping up while Spurs are without their captain and talisman Heung-min Son.
Ange Postecoglou praises Richarlison after Tottenham
But it was not just his goal that impressed Ange Postecoglou. Speaking on Match of the Day, Postecoglou insisted that the 26-year-old did superbly up against the Brentford defenders.
“He worked his socks off for the team, his hold up play was exceptional against strong defenders. Getting goals when Sonny [Son Heung-min] is away is important,” he said.
Spurs continue to impress without their talisman
It is a huge boost for Tottenham that Richarlison seems to be finding his feet in North London. Of course, his first season with the club was a real disappointment. And there would have been real concerns about whether he would be able to fill the void Harry Kane left in the summer.
It has still taken some time this season. But this run has been so good that it does appear that he has worked things out.
It is a huge achievement to put themselves back in the top four while Son is away. And Postecoglou now faces a headache over who he exactly he leaves out once Son is back available.
Richarlison is doing all he can to make sure that he remains in the side.
