Concerning News: Knicks Make Unfortunate Announcement Ahead of Tuesday’s Mavericks Game regarding two key Stars…..

The New York Knicks will be at home at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night as they look to turn their recent rough stretch around against the beat-up Dallas Mavericks.

New York enters Tuesday’s contest having dropped six of their last 10 games but they are coming off a victory over the Washington Wizards on Saturday.

They will now look to start a winning streak against the Mavericks who will be on the second night of a back-to-back after they defeated the Brooklyn Nets on Monday, but Dallas’ roster is also decimated by injuries.

Unfortunately for the Knicks, they will also be shorthanded on Tuesday as they have ruled out Mile McBride due to a left groin contusion.

This is a massive blow for the Knicks, especially with Jalen Brunson still sidelined due to an ankle injury that is set to keep him out through late March and possibly into early April.

McBride has played well while filling in for Brunson in the starting lineup and he is also putting together the best season of his NBA career.

This season, the 24-year-old point guard is averaging 9.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 40.7% from the field and 37.1% from three-point range.

With McBride sidelined on Tuesday against Dallas, Cameron Payne is expected to start in his place and rookie Tyler Kolek should also see an increase in minutes off the bench.

Along with McBride, the Knicks have ruled out Brunson and Ariel Hukporti for Tuesday’s matchup and they have also listed Mitchell Robinson as questionable due to ankle injury management.

With the Knicks being shorthanded, they will need their star players of Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby to step up if they want to take down the Mavericks.

Fans can catch Tuesday’s matchup between the Mavericks and Knicks at 7:30 p.m. EST.
