The St. Louis Cardinals have been tremendously busy this offseason, and they still have a lot of work to do.

St. Louis has added three starting pitchers this summer, but the club still needs to improve in other areas. This offseason, the team’s focus will be on improving the bullpen. St. Louis’ bullpen struggled last year, so at least one or two high-level relievers are needed.

It’s unclear who they will target, but it has been rumored that the club could look to trade outfielder Tyler O’Neill for bullpen help. There has been plenty of speculation for a possible deal involving O’Neill and two teams that reportedly are interested in him are the Kansas City Royals and Seattle Mariners, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s Derrick Goold.
