The Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers released their final Week 14 injury reports on Wednesday ahead of their matchup on Thursday and a total of eight players were ruled out between the two teams.

The Lions will be without yet another defensive lineman, as D.J. Reader, who is coming off his best game with the Lions, has been ruled out. Along with Reader, the Lions will also be missing Levi Onwuzurike and Josh Paschal.

With a rash of injuries along the defensive line and at linebacker, the Lions signed defensive linemen Jonah Williams and Myles Adams, and linebacker Kwon Alexander and safety Jamal Adams, who could get a look at linebacker.

Head coach Dan Campbell said all four players could get some playing time against the Packers despite joining the team this week.

On offense, Detroit will be without left tackle Taylor Decker for the second consecutive game. Swing tackle Dan Skipper is expected to start in his place.

There is some good news for the Lions, though, as cornerbacks Carlton Davis and Emmanuel Moseley will both suit up. Davis sat out last week’s game, while Moseley will be making his 2024 debut after starting the season in IR.

The biggest name ruled out for the Packers is cornerback Jaire Alexander, who is set to miss his fourth game in the last five.

Green Bay will be without a pair of depth pieces in linebacker Edgerrin Cooper and cornerback Corey Ballentine. The only Packers players on offense who isn’t suiting up is wide receiver Romeo Doubs.
