Awesome: The Heat Celebrated an All-Star who was Pivotal in their Triumph over the Cavaliers.
Kyle Lowry of the Miami Heat scored 28 points against the Cavaliers, his highest performance of the season.
The Miami Heat found out just before kickoff that center Bam Adebayo was out.
Kyle Lowry only required that.
He took it upon himself to compensate for Adebayo’s absence by scoring 28 points in the Heat’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.
“When Bam said he was out, I knew it was an opportunity for me to step up and get some good shots,” Lowry said following the game. “When we’re this small and don’t have Bam, we need to get more threes up.” It’s a nice road win against a pretty excellent squad.”
Adebayo missed the game due to a sore hip, giving Lowry additional touches. He answered by making 7 of 10 three-point attempts.
“Jimmy was guarding Darius Garland,” said Lowry. “So I knew I’d have some open looks ahead of me… Bam cannot be replaced. He’s an indispensible basketball player. “It was just going out there and trying to get a few more open looks for myself.”
After receiving tremendous criticism from fans, Lowry delivered a classic performance. It was another opportunity to watch “Kyle Chaos,” as coach Erik Spoelstra refers to him.
“Kyle was terrific with his pace,” remarked Spoelstra. “It’s only three-point shooting.” His speed was great; he never allowed the defense settle in, and he got us into early actions and Kyle Chaos in so many different possessions. We definitely need him to be assertive and combative as much as possible.”

The Heats hope that “Kyle Chaos” would keep up the amazing energy in subsequent matches.
