During the start of the 2023-24 NBA season, the Golden State Warriors consistently dealt with Draymond Green’s issues on the court.

The four-time NBA champion regularly engaged in verbal or physical altercations with opponents.

Following his physical altercation with Jusuf Nurkic during a Warriors vs. Suns game earlier in the season, Green was given a lengthy suspension by the league.

Many believed that Green had learned his lesson and would show a much calmer side for the rest of the season.

However, as per Jusuf Nurkic, Green hasn’t learned his lesson as the veteran forward once again engaged in a verbal battle with the Suns’ center in their recent matchup.

Stephen Curry showed support for his longtime teammate in the postgame conference, as revealed via Anthony Slater on Twitter.

“Draymond was in his head. Plain and simple,” Curry said.

Stephen Curry didn’t mince his words when calling out Nurkic as he even labeled him ‘idiotic’ for his comments about Green.

Curry concluded that Green was simply in his head, which obviously allowed the Warriors to take advantage of him in the game.

After the final buzzer, the Warriors registered a 113-112 win over the Suns.

Draymond Green finished the game with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 9 assists for the Warriors, while Nurkic struggled with just 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists to his name.

However, the true star of the matchup was undoubtedly Stephen Curry.

Curry finished the game with 30 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists in just 34 minutes of playing time against the highly-touted Phoenix Suns.
