Ozuna has been one of the best hitters in the game since May of last year:
With three hits today including the game-winning homer and a double, Marcell Ozuna is batting .373/.413/.780 with a 213 wRC+ in 2024
He is batting .307/.373/.622 since May of last season

This includes having the third best OPS (behind teammates Matt Olson and Ronald Acuna Jr.) of any National League player in the second half of last year. This year, Ozuna is just the 14th player since 1901 to have 7 home runs and 21 RBIs through a team’s first 14 games to start the season (the first Brave to do it since Dale Murphy in 1985.)
Simply put, Ozuna has been outstanding and critical to many of the Braves wins this year.
