Jannik Sinner’s ex-girlfriend Maria Braccini shares post-breakup reflections

Jannik Sinner’s ex-girlfriend Maria Braccini has spoken out about her life in the past few years and her future plans, weeks after the Italian confirmed his relationship with Russian tennis star Anna Kalinskaya. Sinner and Braccini began dating in 2020. However, during the 2024 French Open, he announced his new relationship with Kalinskaya without detailing the breakup.

Braccini has now addressed the public on the issue on social media.

“I never talked about myself on social media, I never shared anything about my private life or what I did,” she wrote in her recent post.

The Italian model revealed that she faced rejection while persistently chasing one of her biggest dreams, which has finally come to fruition.

“In recent years, I have worked hard to realize one of my biggest dreams,” she said, adding, “I was patient, I studied, I was rejected but I never stopped believing and working to improve myself, silently so as not to have easier roads.”

“I made a journey to sign a piece of paper that was really important to me and which marks the beginning of a new and long journey,” Maria Braccini added.

Jannik Sinner, currently competing at the Wimbledon Championships, reached the Round of 16, where he will face 14th seed Ben Shelton on July 7. Anna Kalinskaya, on the other hand, also made it to the Round of 16 where she will take on 2022 champion Elena Rybakina on July 8.
