Steph Curry’s Status for Lakers vs. Warriors Revealed
The Golden State Warriors are taking on the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night, and they will have Steph Curry available. Curry is not listed on the injury report, meaning his is good to go for this big game.
The Warriors trail the Lakers by two games in the standings, needing to pass them and others in order to earn a spot in the Western Conference playoffs. The Warriors of course need to re-enter the play-in picture before they can climb into a playoff spot, which is looking like a challenge of its own.
While Curry is still playing at a very high level, he has had some ups and downs this season, which have been harder for the Warriors to sustain given the inconsistent production they have gotten outside of Curry. Still putting together a very solid year, averaging 26.8 PPG, Curry is the only Warriors player averaging over 18 PPG this season.
Needing to turn things around sooner rather than later, the Warriors are not where they want to be right now. While trades are likely necessary in order for Golden State to reach the level of a true contender, the roster they have right now also needs to perform better.
This game against the Lakers is a big one for the Warriors, as they look to get back on track.

Injury Report: Golden State Warriors vs Los Angeles Lakers
The Golden State Warriors face off against the Los Angeles Lakers in a playoff rematch of last year’s playoffs, but there’s a chance LeBron James may not play.
The Warriors have three players listed on their injury report: Chris Paul, Gary Payton II, and Moses Moody. Chris Paul is out due to a left-hand fracture, Gary Payton II is out due to a left hamstring strain, and Moses Moody is out due to a left calf strain. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green are all listed as available to play.
The Los Angeles Lakers have five players listed on their injury report: LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Cam Reddish, Gabe Vincent, and Maxwell Lewis. LeBron James is questionable due to left ankle peroneal tendinopathy, Anthony Davis is questionable with bilateral Achilles tendinopathy, Cam Reddish is out due to a right ankle sprain, Gabe Vincent is out due to left knee surgery, and Maxwell Lewis is probable due to a non-COVID illness.
If LeBron James and Anthony Davis are both out tonight, it’ll be a huge break for the Golden State Warriors. However, it’ll definitely suck out all of the anticipation for tonight’s matchup. Surprisingly, tonight will be the very first time that the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers face off this season.
Last season, the Lakers won the regular season 3-1 and the playoffs 4-2. The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers face off at 8:30 p.m. EST tonight.
