Will Milwaukee Bucks star Alex Caruso be playing tonight for the Chicago Bulls?
The Chicago Bulls host a surging Milwaukee Bucks side on Friday night in this latest iteration of this Central Division rivalry. The Bulls are coming off a taxing double-overtime win against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, 132-123, while the Bucks are on the second night of a back-to-back set following their 111-99 victory over the Charlotte Hornets.
Both teams are pretty banged up right now, with Chicago, in particular, missing a handful of players on their roster. This includes Alex Caruso, who missed Wednesday’s win against the Cavs. As such, the big question right now is this: Is Alex Caruso playing tonight vs. the Bucks?
Chicago Bulls’ Alex Caruso Listed on Injury Report Vs. Milwaukee Bucks
Caruso missed Wednesday’s contest due to a hamstring problem, which he sustained in Tuesday’s loss against the Detroit Pistons. The 6-foot-5 guard exited Tuesday’s game in the fourth quarter but was able to return to close out the contest.
The Bulls opted to give Caruso the night off the following evening, and it now appears that he is still being bothered by the same hamstring issue heading into Friday’s bout against Milwaukee.
As of writing, Caruso is considered questionable to play with a strain in his right hamstring. This could change as tip-off draws closer, but as of right now, the 30-year-old’s status is up in the air.
Caruso is far from the only name on the injury list for Chicago. The Bulls have already ruled All-Star guard Zach LaVine for the remainder of the campaign after he underwent season-ending surgery in his right foot. The same is the case for Patrick Williams, who also went under the knife in February.
Lonzo Ball remains without a timetable to return, while Torrey Craig continues to be sidelined by a foot injury.
Now, with regard to the question of is Alex Caruso playing tonight vs. the Bucks, the answer remains to be seen.
