Philadelphia Phillies supporters will be watching the Hall of Fame selections intently in the coming months, as two of their franchise’s all-time greats are now on the ballot.
Jimmy Rollins is one of 14 returning players and will be on the roster for the third year in a row. He still has a long way to go before reaching the 75% level required for induction.
Chase Utley is the other Phillies legend on the list this year, joining Rollins.
For the first time, he and 11 other players are on the official 2024 Hall of Fame ballot.
Philadelphia’s legendary second baseman played just under 13 seasons with the franchise before getting traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers in August of 2015.
