How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted To Wednesday’s Victory Over The Sacramento Kings

Just-in: The Miami Heat broke their losing streak on Wednesday night

That’s probably the phrase a lot of Miami Heat fans exclaimed after ending their seven-game losing streak Wednesday night against the Sacramento Kings.

Jimmy Butler continues his return to star form, as he put up 31 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Miami Heat nearly had a triple double of his own with 14 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Bam Adebayo had a solid game as well with 16 points and 11 rebounds, finishing a lot of tough shots at the rim.

Even for Keegan Murray’s 33-point performance and Domantas Sabonis’ triple-double, the Kings’ backcourt play was underwhelming. Malik Monk and star De’Aaron Fox only combined for 19 points, going 7 of 24 from the field while shooting eight percent from 3-point range.

In contrast, Miami shot 46 percent from that distance, featuring six 3-pointers from backup guard Josh Richardson. Richardson’s 24-point performance was his highest-scoring game this season.

Terry Rozier had another underwhelming performance with three points on 1 of 8 shooting from the field. However, fans appreciated his facilitating and playing making at the point guard position.

“Even with his shot not falling, Rozier’s speed and athleticism easily makes him an upgrade,” one user said. “Once he gets in a groove it’ll be beautiful.”

Hopefully, the Heat use this momentum against the Washington Wizards (9-38) Friday night.

Miami Heat vs. Sacramento Kings Injury Report: Duncan Robinson Ruled Out

The full injury report for Wednesday’s contest between the Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings

The Miami Heat (24-23) are headed into Wednesday evening in hopes of snapping their losing streak against the Sacramento Kings (27-18).

Miami has lost seven straight games, with the most recent coming against the Phoenix Suns on Monday. Meanwhile, Sacramento took down the Dallas Mavericks and Memphis Grizzlies on back-to-back nights in their latest matchups.

Robinson left the game against the Suns due to an illness after three minutes of action. The sharpshooter has played in 45 of the Heat’s 47 games.

A game with a nearly full-health roster for Miami provides another opportunity for them to get back on track. The problem is that the Kings lineup is at full health, with big man Domantas Sabonis coming off a 20-point, 26-rebound performance against Memphis. Meanwhile, Heat center Bam Adebayo has struggled on the offensive end in recent outings.
