Micah Parsons Tells All About Going Up Against Dolphins Star
The Dallas Cowboys will travel to Hard Rock Stadium to face the Miami Dolphins in one of the most anticipated Week 16 NFL matches, with this game potentially serving as a Super Bowl preview.
Although the most anticipated game of the holiday weekend will be the San Francisco 49ers hosting Lamar Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens, this game between Dak Prescott and Tua Tagovailoa comes in a close second, with both teams looking to make a statement before heading into the NFL playoffs in a few weeks.
This will be a classic duel between a high-powered offense and one of the league’s greatest defenses, with one of these two elite teams having to win.
According to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News, superstar linebacker and NFL Defensive Player of the Year candidate Micah Parsons discussed going up against the Dolphins and needing to limit his friend and fellow great, Tyreek Hill.
Even though Hill missed last week’s game against the division-rival New York Jets due to an ankle injury, the superstar wide receiver is listed as questionable to play against the Cowboys this weekend; he’s expected to play on Sunday.
Hill being back on the field for the Dolphins makes this a much different game for the Dolphins, who didn’t struggle for a second against the defense of the Jets last weekend.
Parsons and company will have their work cut out for them against arguably the best wide receiver in the league, who will likely be looking to make a statement in Week 16.

Dolphins host five-time Pro Bowl free agent
The Miami Dolphins are 10-4 and look poised to capture their first AFC East championship since 2008.
With three games to play, Miami has a two-game division lead over the second-place Buffalo Bills.
Miami going to the playoffs is a foregone conclusion at this point, so it’s no surprise that the Dolphins may be looking to add some depth and experience heading into the postseason.
On Tuesday, the team hosted five-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh for a visit, first reported by ESPN’s Field Yates.
Suh was taken second overall in the 2010 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions after a great undergraduate career with the Nebraska Cornhuskers that saw him finish fourth in the 2009 Heisman Trophy voting. He played the first five seasons of his career with the Detroit Lions, where he was voted AP Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2010 and a First Team All-Pro three times (2010, 2013, 2014).
Suh signed a six-year, $114 million contract with the Miami Dolphins in March 2015, the largest contract in NFL history for a defensive player at the time. He spent three years in Miami until being released in March 2018 to make room on the salary cap.
Suh signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 after spending one season with the Los Angeles Rams. He was a member of the Super Bowl LV champion team.
He was with the Rams until the 2021 season before becoming unsigned until November 2022, when he was scooped up by the Philadelphia Eagles for their postseason push, just as the Dolphins appear to be doing this season.
