After being a team constantly popping up in trade rumors, the Philadelphia 76ers made a flurry of moves at the deadline. They parted with multiple players, and a majority of them are on pace to hit the open market.

The Sixers’ first move of the day was sending Marcus Morris and Furkan Korkmaz to the Indiana Pacers in exchange for veteran sharpshooter Buddy Hield. Later in the day, reports emerged that the Pacers plan to waive Korkmaz.

As for Morris, he was re-routed later in another deal to the San Antonio Spurs. From there, he is expected to reach a buyout and become a free agent.

Another move Daryl Morey executed was sending Danuel House and a second-round pick to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for cash considerations. After making multiple deals to clear playing time for their younger players, House also got waived.

Now free agents, these veterans are free to put themselves in a desirable situation. Aside from House, Morris is another player who should garner some interest around the league. As a stretch forward who can provide a scoring punch, contenders are sure to monitor him. Morris played in 37 games for the Sixers, where he averaged 6.7 PPG and shot 40% from beyond the arc.

There were some Sixers who were traded that are staying with their new team. Patrick Beverley was moved to the Milwaukee Bucks for Cam Payne and a second-round pick. Then, just before the deadline passed, Jaden Springer was dealt to the Boston Celtics for a second-round pick.
