The ejections of Dre Greenlaw and Dom DiSandro in the 49ers-Eagles game have been officially explained by the NFL

Who is Dom DiSandro? Meet 'Big Dom,' the Eagles' head of security and beloved Philly sports figure | Sporting News

Dom DiSandro, the Philadelphia Eagles’ security chief, charged into the field after witnessing an altercation during their game versus the San Francisco 49ers. Dre Greenlaw was enraged by this and fired a shot at the man, causing both of them to be removed. Roger Goodell’s NFL office has yet to implement a regulation modification. However, the case did gain some clarity since both teams’ fans were outraged, according to Jori Epstein of Yahoo Sports.

“The officials had a flag on the field for a personal foul on San Francisco No. 57 (Dre Greenlaw). Then there was continuing action. And so what Rule 19 allows us to do is provide assistance by looking at the video. We saw the video showed there was a staff person (Dom DiSandro) who made contact with the player and the player involved. No. 57 made contact with the staff member which warranted his disqualification,” was the clarification made in the NFL’s officiating pool report.

The Eagles’ security chief should have not supposedly entered the field. His act was then seen as a contribution to the escalation of events within the gridiron. There are still a lot of fines and investigations to be handed out by the NFL. But, it will surely make both players and staff members cautious of their actions.

The 49ers would then get away with a huge 42-19 win. This improves their record to nine wins and three losses. Jalen Hurts’ squad would fall to two losses and ten wins this season.

The San Francisco 49ers headed to Philadelphia with the intention of making a statement about the 2023 season. Following a poor start in which they fell behind 6-0 to the defending NFC Champions, the Niners stepped on the gas and won 42-19 at Lincoln Financial Field. While the Niners had advantages in several areas, no player contributed more to the team’s success than star wide receiver Deebo Samuel.

The Niners (9-3) rolled to a 42-19 triumph over the Eagles (10-2) in a game that could have major implications for the final playoff standings in the NFC. Samuel caught 4 passes for 116 yards, and he scored a pair of receiving touchdowns.

But Samuel wasn’t just a receiver as he also had 3 carries for 22 yards and scored one rushing touchdown. Samuel had criticized Eagles defender James Bradberry and then came through with a memorable game.

Quarterback Brock Purdy had an excellent game himself, completed 19 of 27 passes for 314 yards with 4 TD passes. Purdy knew that Samuel was on track to have a huge game against the high-flying Eagles.

“We all knew he was ready for this game. He’s been waiting for it for a long time.”

Samuel attacked the Eagles with speed and power throughout the game, and he had plenty of help from running back Christian McCaffrey. The running back had 17 carries for 93 yards and a touchdown, and he fought his way out of arm tackles throughout the game.

Tight end George Kittle added 4 receptions for 68 yards, while wideout Brandon Aiyuk caught 5 Purdy passes for 46 yards and a touchdown.

While the offense lit up the scoreboard, the Niners defense limited the Eagles. Defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw created havoc, recording 4 tackles and 2.0 sacks.

Deebo Samuel and the Niners will try to keep their 4-game winning streak intact when they host the Seahawks in Week 14.
