The All-Pro Minnesota Vikings Regarding His Upcoming Deal, Justin Jefferson: “My goal is to demolish the bank.”

The Minnesota Vikings, who finished the season with a 7-10 record dealt with multiple injuries on the offensive side of the ball.  None more important than Kirk Cousins, who tore his Achilles during the middle of the year and was required to have season-ending surgery.

His favorite target Justin Jefferson was put on Injured Reserve after suffering a hamstring injury in week 5.  Despite battling injuries all season, Jefferson is considered as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL and broke the record for most receiving yards in their first 2 seasons.

Heading into a contract year, Jefferson talked about his next deal and what he expects from teams moving forward.  On “Mad Dog Sports Radio”, Adam Schein asked Jefferson about his contractual situation.

Jefferson, who will turn 25 years old this June is set to acquire a large sum of money when his contract is up.  Some of his peers such as Tyreek Hill, Cooper Kupp and Davante Adams all received deals which pay upwards of 25 million dollars per season.  With his young age and talent, Jefferson will likely be in their range.

Jefferson Still Believes Minnesota Vikings Will “Do What They Need to Do” to Keep Him

Despite saying that he will play for any organization that meets his value, Jefferson still believes that the Vikings will do their best to keep him in the building.  Only time will tell, but Jefferson will look to show why he should be paid amongst the top receivers in the league next season.
