Tottenham is “more likely” to pursue a player valued at £45–50 million rather than the 22-year-old ace

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with the likes of James Garner and Conor Gallagher in recent months.

According to Ben Jacobs, the North London club appreciate the Everton midfielder but they are unlikely to pursue a move for him at the end of the season. Jacobs has revealed to Give Me Sport that a move for Gallagher is more likely in the summer.

Tottenham rate the Chelsea midfielder highly and it remains to be seen whether they can get the deal done.

The player has not signed a contract extension with Chelsea yet and he will be a free agent in the summer of 2025. Tottenham believe that he could be signed for a fee of around £45-50 million at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old Chelsea midfielder has been in outstanding form this season and he has been a key player for the Blues. He has captained them multiple times this season and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.

Tottenham need a hard-working central midfielder like him, especially if Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg moves on in the summer.

Gallagher would be the ideal fit for their current style of play. The Chelsea star is yet to enter his peak and he could improve further with coaching and experience. He could be a long-term asset for them.

There is no doubt that Gallagher has the ability to justify the £45-50 million valuation in the coming seasons. Meanwhile, Garner has been a key player for Everton as well. The 22-year-old will look to help Everton beat the drop this season.
