Watch: Viral Video Shows Luka Doncic On Farm In Slovenia using heavy machinery, as Jaren Jackson Jr. threw striking shades at Mavs Superstar

Luka Doncic is kicking back and taking it easy during his summer break and has returned to his home country of Slovenia.

A video shared by the NBA on Instagram, per ClutchPoints, shows Doncic hanging out on a farm in Slovenia, having fun with horses and cows while also using heavy machinery and seeing how the farm works.

Doncic seems to be in good spirits, which means he’ll enter the 2024-25 season with a positive attitude.

Of course, Doncic already had reason to have an optimistic attitude in 2024-25 even before this trip back to Slovenia.

He just had one of the best seasons of his career, averaging 33.9 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game.

On top of that, Doncic was able to lead his Dallas Mavericks all the way to the NBA Finals for the first time in more than ten years.

They couldn’t win it all, of course, and the Boston Celtics were able to easily move past them to a championship.

But many people believe the next season will be better than the last for Doncic and his Mavericks.

The Mavericks are now officially one of the most exciting teams in the Western Conference and Doncic remains one of the best players in the league.

After years of coming close, Doncic has a very good chance of winning his first MVP trophy if he continues to perform well.

For a number of reasons, people are elated to see what the new season brings for Doncic and Dallas.

When he returns to Slovenia next summer, Doncic could be a first-time champion or MVP.

Jaren Jackson Jr. Reveals His First Impression of Luka Doncic

Dallas Mavericks v Memphis Grizzlies

Jaren Jackson Jr. of the Memphis Grizzlies has a very special relationship with Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks.

Not only does Jackson play against Doncic often, but he was also selected right after him in the 2018 NBA draft.

That means he’s been uniquely close to Doncic over the last few years.

In a new interview shared by ClutchPoints on X, Jackson spoke about his first impression of Doncic.

He said that Doncic was a normal guy when he stepped onboard the draft bus, but his talent was soon on full display.

“Everything else has just been insane. He looks like he’s been in the league [for] like 100 years,” Jackson said.

The 2018 NBA draft was crowded with incredible talent.

Deandre Ayton was the number one choice and was picked by the Phoenix Suns.

He was followed by Marvin Bagley III, who was selected by the Sacramento Kings.

Then it was time for the Atlanta Hawks to choose, and they drafted Doncic, who would later be sent to the Dallas Mavericks.

Jackson was right behind him in the number four position.

In a draft class full of amazing young players, Doncic was obviously one of the most impressive.

Since being drafted, Doncic has become the face of the Mavericks and has done great things, constantly in contention for MVP and is considered one of the best players in the entire league.

Jackson is no slouch himself and averaged 22.5 points and 5.5 rebounds last season.

He’s a two-time block champion, one-time All-Star, and the 2022-23 Defensive Player of the Year.

Jackson and Doncic are two of the best players in the NBA and they clearly greatly respect one another.
