Nuggets Star Reveals Exciting Nikola Jokic Announcement
While Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic is not a big fan of all the media attention that comes with being an NBA star, he does like to have some fun in the media at times. This was seen throughout Denver’s playoff run last season, when Jokic would often play around with reporters during his postgame media sessions, and this was even more prevalent after the championship.
Nuggets star Michael Porter Jr. has a podcast, and while Jokic doesn’t seem like the type of player who would be interested in making an appearance, Porter reportedly revealed that the reigning Finals MVP will indeed be on his show soon:
This should be a lot of fun for fans, as Jokic is exactly the type of personality that podcast listeners are hoping to hear from. Porter Jr. has had some of his current and former teammates on the podcast recently, but it’s hard to compare anyone to Jokic when it comes to fan interest.
As previously mentioned, Jokic does like to have some fun with the media, even if it is not his favorite thing about the job. Bringing some of that personality to Porter Jr.’s show should make for a very entertaining episode that Nuggets fans can expect to drop soon.
Player podcasts have become very popular over the last few years, and a Jokic episode should be as good as it gets.
NBA To Announce Decision On Punishment For Jokic Brothers Following Violent Fi
The NBA is currently investigating a heated exchanging during the Denver Nuggets versus Los Angeles Lakers matchup, between Nikola Jokic’s brothers and fans at Ball Arena.
Strahinja Jokic was seen bulldozing through fans en route to punching one male spectator. The entire footage was caught on video, with the incident occurring just after the Nuggets secured a comeback win over Los Angeles.
This isn’t the first time Jokic’s brother has been involved in an incident. He’s been known to be aggressive verbally and physically to anyone that disrespects him or his family.
It’s unknown what the spectator may have told Strahinja, but the NBA is going through a thorough investigation to examine the extent of the incident, per Michael Babcock at TMZ.
After Strahinja connected with a right handed punch to the fan, his brother Nemanja was in his corner ready to get involved. The two parties were separated from each other after the physical altercation, but incident didn’t go unnoticed to the NBA league office.
