All dynasties must come to an end, and it appears that the Golden State Warriors’ time is finally coming for them.

The Warriors have been the most successful team in the past decade as they’ve got four NBA Championships to show off, but the 2023-24 NBA season has been everything but fun for them.

Golden State currently owns a 15-17 record and sits just outside of the Western Conference playoff picture.

Draymond Green is away from the team as he serves an indefinite suspension, while Andrew Wiggins has regressed on both ends.

However, the most disappointing player is arguably Klay Thompson who has looked like a shell of himself offensively.

Thompson has dealt with some massive injuries over the years, and it appears that he’s hitting his breaking point after another tough outing against the Dallas Mavericks via Monte Poole of NBC.

“As Klay Thompson’s shooting struggles continued last night against the Mavericks, it’s evident his frustrations are growing,” Poole reports.

It’s been hard to watch Thompson some nights as it looks like his confidence is gone when shooting the basketball.

Once one of the most feared players from beyond the arc, Thompson has been pressing anytime he gets the basketball and it’s resulted in some poor showings.

Golden State has a tough decision to make on the former All-Star, especially because he’s due for an extension.

Thompson previously expressed his desire to stay with the franchise for the remainder of his career, but if the team wants to start winning games again it might need to consider parting ways with him.
